What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a titanium screw that gets placed in your jaw during a painless procedure. The dental implant will osseointegrate for roughly 3-6 months before a dental crown will be placed on top.
It is a procedure that can give patients long term satisfaction as the success rate is well over 20 years.

How to they place the implant and crown?
Replacing your teeth with an implant involves a few steps and visits.
During the initial visit your dentist will insert the implant into your bone and let it heal for roughly 3-6 months.
Once the dental implant is firmly attached in your mouth, we will take and impression and within a few weeks deliver an abutment and crown.
The crown is the only portion of the whole implant system that you will actually see. it is a very esthetic option and dental implants can potentially last a lifetime.
